Book Review: Aliens and Ice Cream
In this half horror, half sci-fi novel by Michael James, the characters start off in a normal suburban neighborhood, where we learn about both teenagers as well as their parents. There is a bit of tension between many of the characters, but nothing compared to the tension that unfolds when these giant pods come from a hole in the sky and start murdering all of the humans they see. Supposedly, they are aliens from another planet, and the characters are only able to save themselves by staying indoors. Unfortunately, Heather, Matt, and Matt's little sister are trapped in a tree house, with no food and no water... Will they be able to do something about the Aliens before they starve to death?
Book Review: The Last Feast
As the last living thing in the universe, Jim retells his story of how he got here to his clone... Just before he eats him. A sci-fi space story with adult and horror elements mixed in, this novel is an intriguing and quick read.
